At the beginning she said she has the cold and her voice is a little weird. Regardless she sings live better than 99.99% of the performers out there. I can't believe how much people do in the studio to sound "good" and when they're live, they sound like shit. She's very true to her studio recordings, and I'm sure everyone can agree that that is a very good feature of her.

If you knew Japanese you'd know she is mentioning that she has a cold and is feeling under the weather during this performance.

I love utada but her voice sometimes seems strained. And she doesn't seem to have the range of other singers out there. Plus her voice has little power.Amy Lee for instance has amazing range with a powerful and beautiful voice. She just acts like a baby.
