So then we agree. "Aren't" technically isn't a "word" but is appropriate in American English. However, "cause" IS technically a word but not in the context you used it in.

Wow omg. It's called a "verb contraction".. Look it up or listen in English class. Anyway, I think there is enough here for most people to rationalize who the idiot is. Me? Or the "American" who calls other Americans "a dumb ass american", doesn't know what a verb contraction is, and tries to force his point with swearing and no evidence. My point is... I'm trying to prove you're the idiot instead of you making me out to be the one who's wrong when you said "arent" isn't a word but "aren't" is proper with the apostrophe shortening the words "are" and "not".

"cause" is not a word in the context you're using it in. omg. the actual word "cause" is meant to be used to describe an initiator but you're using it as a short cut to the word "because" in that case the word "(be)cause" doesnt exist. |
