I never understood what the big deal was about him saying "Yeah!" after he finished building up that excitement. I wasn't a Dean supporter, but I didn't support W either, and I guessed the W supporters just jumped on that openly human moment of Dean's and used it over and over again to discredit him when they had no other way to get a lame-ass candidate like Kerry on the ticket (instead) opposite W in 2004. They were running scared, as usual (remember "free speech zones"?).

Howard Dean would have been impeached his first week in office.Axelrod and Plouffe had a lot more to do with Obama's victory, Dean's 50 state strategy (which they didn't implement anyway, they pulled out of half a dozen states when Palin showed up and a lot of states started narrowing to McCain - and they regretted it later because they started to gain after Lehman brothers collapsed) is useless unless you forego public financing like Obama. In 2012 the Republicans won't use it either now.
