Scientists believe that the universe was very colourful after the big bang because the heat was intense enough to bring most of the matter into the fourth state; plasma. When it cooled down enough, the universe suddenly (in less than a second) became the "colour" it is now.... interesting idea.

Sorry bud, but fire is not plasma. Plasma can be effected by electromagnetic forces and is considered the fourth state of matter, but fire is the state of combustion where energy is released in the form of light and heat. Nice try
