Robert F. Kennedy's Statement on Dr. King's Death - Montage

Since the movie "Bobby" is going to be released, I created this montage on Robert F. Kennedy's Statement in Indianapolis, IN on Martin Luther King's Assassination, which he made on the night of April 4, 1968. Amid the tragedy of the assassination of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, an extraordinary moment in U.S. political history occurred as Robert F. Kennedy, younger brother of slain President John F. Kennedy, broke the news of King's death to a large gathering of African Americans in Indianapolis, Indiana.Most of the people hadn't even heard that Dr. King had been shot. I can imagine that they were stunned and some cried. But that evening Robert Kennedy spoke from his soul. The words rang in almost a prayerful manner.

I am a true believer in the Kennedy way of Politics. John and Bobby really cared for the safety of all people and children, and also had the greatest compassion for mankind. Bobby would have made the best President ever. I am a good friend of Bobby jr. and he is a great person just like his Dad. What a great speach for Martin L. King, as he was also a great person. RG NY

I was there that night. It truly was very moving and scary at the same time. I can remember looking at him and saw the sorrow in his face. I was a senior in high school and just 2 months later almost to the day our graduation ceremony was saddened on his day of assasination. 1968 was a very sad year!

But America has come a long way. In only about 40 years, an African American became president, if we continue like this for another century, think about how much we will accomplish.

JFK would have died before 1970 due to Addison's Disease. MLK and Malcolm X would be washed up. Bobby would be possibly an ex-President
