No remake, WoodBlock707. This is the original movie that was released back in 1994. And it was based on an original comic book with the same title by James O'Barr.Later, there followed 3 more movies over the years, plus, a TV series. But this original production is by far the best! The rest are just pointless immitations.

did you know that brandan lee died making the movie. one of the prop guns had real bullets in it.
