I used to love this show when I was a kid. I was watching it when ABC but on a newsflash that MLK Jr. had been killed. I had no idea who he was. Still remember the episode that was interrupted. Loved when Uncle Arthur was on, also Aunt Clara. Dick York was irreplaceable as Darrin. Also loved "I Dream of Jeannie," NBC's answer to this show, but it wasn't as good in my opinion.

Dick Sargent did a lot of charity work for Christian Children's Fund, so don't be so damned critical of him as a person. Also, he was the original choice for the part as "Darrin," but had another contract obligation, which is why York got the part instead. Jack Keller and Howard Greenfield wrote the theme music in this clip.
