a comment on the video for "When you touch me" by the Freemasons, suggests the viewer look up this video. Since the freemasons video is an homage to this number. If you haven't checked it out, I recommend it, the song is really good, and its amazing how well the choreography fits both numbers

John Wheeler isn't actually in this number. He's Irving the cop in "I Love to Cry at Weddings" (dancing with Stubby Kaye; a nice touch since Wheeler originated Herman on Broadway) and I *think* that's him, in a Moe Howard-ish long wig and fake moustache, seemingly having delirium tremens in "Rhythm of Life."

I remember when they first broadcast this movie on NBC in 1971 and how they censored some portions of this dance sequence. They would block up part of the screen and even just black out certain moves. It still seemed provocative at the time & mesmerizing for the 6 year old that I was.

Beyonce has no originality shes always copying great talents.I'm sick of her. She's overexposed, not that talented, and when I look at her all I see is ambition,no substance or heart in what she does. Her stupid fans don't have a clue who Fosse is they just think Beyonce is some genius. You think Beyonce knew anything about Fosse either? It's her people's idea to copy all the old greats she copies because Beyonce has no original ideas. Beyonce is just a corporate puppet.

do artists who sample music give credit during their videos? does any other dance video give credit to the countless number of things they draw their inspiration from? so many artists copy from who came before, janet and michael jackson are both heavily pulled from for instance. what do you want, a disclaimer? this is how art works. there is nothing new, just reinterpretations of the old. by the way, she also uses fosse in her single ladies video.

Inokes I agree, beyonce is a bore, she totally copied Fosse with the hopes of getting full credit herself.

Yes, Beyonce admitted that her video was inspired by FOSSE,but how many of her following know who FOSSE was? she doesn't give credit to FOSSE on her video. She takes full artistic credit.
