I see where your opinion lies, but please do not forget early pioneer Hildegard of Bingen in the 12th century, she heavily influenced western music, so that the musical evolution of great works as this would follow.

i think you might be thinking of Carmina Barana, it is a sort of opera song. it is shown in many movie trailers like the 300, even in the new movie trailer for that Mall Cop movie

I think it might be Dvorak's 9th Symphony, specifically the 4th movement. The opening is similar to that of Jaws and other movies
